Deputy General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at a bustling craft beer and fresh food venue in Blackheath. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the General Manager in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the General Manager in the daily running of the venue, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Lead a dedicated team to maintain high standards of customer service, food quality, and venue cleanliness.
  • Assist with staff training, development, and performance management to drive team performance and growth.
  • Oversee stock management, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient operations and cost control.
  • Contribute to sales and customer engagement initiatives, focusing on quality, customer experience, and loyalty.
Requirements:
  • Proven management experience in a high-volume, food-led venue, with a passion for craft beer and fresh food.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a hands-on, positive attitude and ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain high standards.
  • A keen eye for detail, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of customer service, food quality, and venue cleanliness.
