Health Improvement Assistant Practitioner

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a skilled Health Improvement Assistant Practitioner to join their Prison Health Care team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering and developing health-related training programs to individuals in prison.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver health-related training sessions to individuals in prison, focusing on harm reduction and prevention.
- Support the promotion of health improvement programs, including Quit Your Way cessation services and Mouth Matters Oral Health Improvement service.
- Collaborate with the Prison Health Improvement Team to identify and address health inequalities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.
- Good command of verbal and written English.
This is a fixed-term position for 6 months, with a shift pattern of Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm, and Friday, 8am to 3:30pm. The post holder may be required to work outside of these hours to meet the needs of the service.
