About Us

Harris Federation is a network of academies that prioritizes the well-being and safety of its students. As a Medical and First Aid Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our students receive the highest level of care and support.

The Medical and First Aid Lead will be responsible for managing the first aid team, coordinating medical services, and ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place. This includes:

  • Managing the first aid register and ensuring that all first aiders are trained and certified
  • Coordinating medical services, including arranging for medical examinations and providing support for students with medical conditions
  • Ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place, including emergency procedures and first aid kits
  • Liaising with parents, carers, and medical professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible care
  • Providing training and support for staff on first aid and medical procedures

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of first aid and medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
