Consultant - Hydrology Role Overview


We are seeking a skilled Consultant - Hydrology to join our team at RPS Group. As a Consultant - Hydrology, you will be responsible for researching water issues, undertaking site walkovers, and providing support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Research water issues such as flooding, water quality, droughts, and drainage using publicly available and bespoke data sets.
  • Undertake site walkovers and other technical and departmental duties associated with the role.
  • Provide support in completing Flood Risk Assessments and ES Chapters.
  • Undertake consultations with Local Planning Authorities (LPA), Lead Local Flood Authorities (LLFA), and other stakeholders including EA.
  • Support in bid preparation and fee proposals.

Requirements:


We are primarily looking for a qualified engineer or scientist with a relevant degree such as Civil Engineering or Physical Geography. You will have some experience working with the associated software and be passionate about developing a better water environment in the UK.
