About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Water Scientist/Hydrologist to join our Water Environment team. This is a multi-disciplinary team with specialists in geomorphology, hydrology, hydro-ecology, water quality and hydrogeology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality project results, applying expertise in water quality studies, hydrological investigations, and hydroecological studies.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, making autonomous decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business objectives.
  • Provide technical direction, innovation, business development, and work winning in hydrology and water science.
  • Liaise closely with internal and external clients, providing line management and training to peers and junior team members.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, such as geography, physical sciences, or engineering.
  • Have proficiency in the application of hydrological software and environmental modelling.
  • Be skilled in GIS software and report writing, with the ability to present complex technical information visually and orally to a wide audience.
  • Have experience in technical project delivery, from bid preparation to project management.
