About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Redbridge CAMHS team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement programs of care with service users and carers involvement
  • Provide highly specialist OT advice to members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Use a range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with children and their families/carers
  • Attend relevant Education, Health and Care Plan meetings (EHCP) and any other relevant forums to share information
  • Undertake CAMHS initial assessments and risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Qualified/registered Occupational therapist
  • Evidence of post-registration Training/qualification and continued CPD
  • Proven and significant experience of working with people with complex, acute mental health needs
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating aspects of care
  • Significant experience as a caseworker and CPA Care Co-ordinator
