Job Summary:

Vivid Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Network Inspector to join our team in a full-time contract position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all streetworks and road works comply with the requirements of the NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act 2004, while minimizing disruption to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To inspect the work carried out by utility and highways contractors to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • To coordinate and issue permits for works across the area, ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
  • To assess traffic management plans and ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • To conduct section 81 inspections and customer complaint resolutions.
  • To perform core sampling and defect inspections to ensure that all works are compliant.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the NRSWA and Traffic Management Act 2004.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
