As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wastewater assets are fit for adoption and that all health and safety rules and policies are adhered to at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and survey drains and sewers at installation stages and post-construction to ensure compliance with approved drawings and design and construction guidance.
  • Collect and document water assets on the Leep Utilities Asset Database.
  • Ensure sewer networks put forward for adoption are constructed and adopted in accordance with approved drawings and design and construction guidance.
  • Maintain effective site records electronically for all inspections carried out on site.
  • Attend pre-construction site meetings with developers and their groundwork contractors.
  • Witness the air test/pressure test of sewer networks and pressure pipes to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Plan and independently manage own site inspection programme to ensure that all construction sites are monitored to the appropriate standard.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all wastewater assets and the design and installation process.
  • Computer-based packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good standard of English and mathematics.
  • Full driving license required.
  • Background experience in drainage infrastructure construction and adoptions.
  • Ability to work productively and collaboratively with developers and contractors to resolve any engineering issues.
