Role Overview:

We are searching for skilled midwives to join our team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As an experienced midwife, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding intrapartum, antenatal, and postnatal care to women and birthing people using our service.

About the Role:

This midwife position is primarily based within the labour ward, with opportunities for rotation to the antenatal and postnatal ward settings. We welcome applications from committed and enthusiastic midwives who can provide emotional support during all stages of pregnancy and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Assessing and advising on the needs of women, birthing people, partners, families, and carers
  • Planning, delivering, and evaluating standards of evidence-based midwifery care
  • Providing interventions and key messages around Public Health, including infant feeding

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with UK NMC PIN
  • Evidence of Ongoing Professional Development
  • Able to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs

Salary:

">

£37,338 - £44,962 per annum (pro rata)
