Crayon is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Licensing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our licensing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing expert licensing advice and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Licensing Expertise: Provide in-depth licensing knowledge and expertise to our clients, ensuring they have the correct licenses under the appropriate agreements.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with our sales teams to provide accurate licensing advice and pricing for Microsoft products.
- Customer Support: Manage Microsoft Enterprise customers by providing licensing expertise, quotes, and true-up support for both new and existing clients.
- Licensing Advice: Advise internal teams on licensing, pricing, amendments, and concessions.
- Business Development: Secure and expand business through upselling and cross-selling to current VL clients.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft software licensing (SAM-based or sales equivalent).
- Business Acumen: Solid business acumen coupled with the ability to translate technical requirements into business terms.
- Licensing Knowledge: In-depth and strategic understanding of Microsoft Licensing programs, tools (Explore.ms, Poet – Partner Self-Service), and platforms.
- Operations Processes: Understanding of operations processes for transacting Microsoft Volume Licensing.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, complemented by solid presentation abilities.
- Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge Acquisition: Ability to acquire and retain new knowledge quickly and enthusiastically.
