Key Responsibilities and Objectives

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our client's business comprising of stand-out venues for conferences, events, and exhibitions, an on-site production company, and accompanying hotels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, account management, and inbound enquiry handling, as well as national travel and attendance at industry events.

This is a varied and exciting role with a great product and service to sell, offering plenty of autonomy and scope for personal development.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience, minimum 2 years
  • Venue, events industry, service industry, or hospitality experience is an advantage
  • Energy and positive attitude, with a consistent determination to succeed in a revenue-targeted and client-led role
  • Perceptive and talented negotiator, persuader, and influencer, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-focused, with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve commercial outcomes
  • Commercially astute, with an understanding of business profit rather than just turnover
  • IT literate, proficient in word, excel, email, and databases
  • Full clean driving license and access to a car, as national travel is a requirement of this role
