About the Role
As a Cancer Research Scientist at Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University London, you will have the opportunity to work on a fully funded project studying how amplified centrosomes impact cancer evolution. This computational project will be performed in close collaboration with Prof Nicholas McGranahan, an expert in tumour evolution. Job Overview
We are seeking a talented scientist with a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant subject, experienced in bioinformatics, genomic data analyses, and computational biology. Fluency in one or more computational language (e.g. R, Python) is essential. You must be organized, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy being part of collaborative projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their time, performance, and solving complex problems.Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is between $50,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
