Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Therapies Team at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory physiotherapy and be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across a range of specialties, including respiratory, critical care, and surgical wards.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists to ensure high standards of practice.

Person Specification
  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 18 months' experience as a physiotherapist in an acute setting.
  • Strong background in respiratory physiotherapy and experience working in critical care and surgical wards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
