Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? We are currently seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Sheffield.

About the Position

This is a full-time and term-time position, working 39 weeks per year, with 33.45 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm). As a Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool room, ensuring a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 5 years.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily activities within the preschool room.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the EYFS, promoting child-led learning and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold preschool standards and contribute to staff development.
  • Ensure effective use of staff and resources, maintaining high standards of care and education.
Requirements
  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE).
  • At least 2 years of post-qualifying experience in a childcare setting, including some senior responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
