Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specialty PA to join our dynamic Oncology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our consultants and their teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our busy department.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to consultants and their teams, including managing diaries, arranging meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Accurately transcribe clinical letters using Winscribe, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain administrative systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Deal with incoming mail, results, and reports, and attend meetings to take minutes.
  • Ensure RTT patient data quality is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling consultant queries and managing their diaries.
  • Typing of clinical letters as required, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements
  • GCSE standard in English and Maths, with a minimum of 5 passes, including grade C or above.
  • NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Audio typing experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Frequent use of VDU equipment, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
