Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Specialty PA to join our dynamic Oncology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to consultants and their teams, ensuring the smooth running of our busy department.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Accurately transcribing clinical letters using Winscribe, producing high-quality work within defined deadlines.
  • Establishing and maintaining admin systems/databases.
  • Dealing with incoming mail, results/reports management.
  • Attending/organizing meetings, taking minutes.
  • Ensuring RTT patient data quality is accurate.
  • Dealing with consultant queries/visitors, managing consultant diary.
  • Telephone calls inbound/outbound relating to patients' specific care, in a confidential manner.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE standard at grade English and Maths A-C or similar through vocational training.
  • NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience.
  • Audiotyping experience.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office.
