We are currently seeking a highly skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Wednesbury.

About the Opportunity

Location: Our school is based in Wednesbury, providing a supportive and dynamic work environment
Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: Full-time position

Key Duties:
  • Providing tailored support to students within the school's resource base.
  • Working closely with teachers and other staff members to create a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Supporting students with challenging behaviour and helping them develop essential life skills.
About You

Qualifications: A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Education is required for this role.
Experience: Essential experience working within an education setting, specifically supporting students with SEND and challenging behaviour.
Compliance: An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.

We offer a competitive salary package, including £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, along with ongoing support and guidance from Smile Education.
