English Teacher for Students with Additional Needs

Job Summary:
SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated English Teacher for Students with Additional Needs to work in Birmingham. This role involves delivering GCSE/Functional Skills English to students with special educational needs, using engaging and inclusive teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons to students with SEN
- Creating SOWs and lesson plans, supported by a catalogue of resources
- Working collaboratively with TAs to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and development
Requirements:
- QTS Qualified
- Minimum of four years' experience in a school or college setting
- Proficiency in creating SOWs and lesson plans
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN
- Commitment to engaging and inclusive teaching methods
Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position is £30.82, with flexible working arrangements, free CPD training, holiday pay, and a dedicated consultant to ensure job satisfaction.
