Job Summary

The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Ophthalmic Specialist to join their team. As a leading centre for major trauma in the North Midlands and North Wales, we are committed to providing the highest standards of care to our patients.

This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with the existing VR team to deliver high-quality and timely services to the local population. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to the development of the service, while also working collaboratively with consultant colleagues and participating in an on-call rota.

The post holder must have sub-specialty training in vitreo-retinal surgery and/or medical retina, with a proven track record of completing a substantial number of specialist procedures. Excellent clinical quality records and the ability to run the service efficiently are essential requirements.
