Job Title: Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work within our Intensive Support Team and contribute to our inpatient Assessment and Treatment Team, as well as offering clinical consultation, leadership, and oversight of the psychology team within Learning Disability Services.

Main Responsibilities:

* Provide highly specialist psychological care to clients with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
* Provide specialist clinical supervision, leadership, and training to the psychology core team and colleagues within the designated psychology services.
* Lead on relevant project work, special interest groups, service, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

* Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical / counselling psychology.
* Substantial experience of working as a qualified applied psychologist within a learning disability service, and holding a leadership role in a learning disability service.
