Job Title: IT Audit Director

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Director to lead our national IT external audit practice. As a leader in our team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of external IT audit engagements, focusing on specific sectors such as Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of external IT audit engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement effective IT controls-based audit approaches, including IT General Controls, application controls, and IPE testing.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT audit professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior management within Forvis Mazars.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in IT audit and assurance.
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and methodologies, driving innovation and excellence in our IT audit practice.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in IT assurance, with a strong background in IT audit and risk management.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and mentoring professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in IT audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control evaluation.
  • Ability to think critically, analyze complex issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the IT industry and its trends.
