About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Biologist to join our Ecosystem Solutions team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality marine biology assessments and reports, liaising with regulators, and managing small to medium-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marine Biology Assessments: Plan and undertake marine biology assessments, producing high-quality reports that meet client expectations.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulators to ensure compliance with relevant environmental and marine legislation.
  • Project Management: Manage small to medium-scale projects, with input on large-scale projects, to deliver technical work and meet client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact with Ramboll project managers, clients, partner organizations, and sub-consultants.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage more junior staff, providing input to resource planning and contributing to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold an appropriate BSc or equivalent qualification with a post-graduate qualification in Marine Biology or a comparable subject.
  • Experience: Possess seven years of consulting experience on marine biology projects, with a strong understanding of relevant environmental and marine legislation.
  • Skills: Be capable of producing clear and concise deliverables to a high technical standard, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate flexibility, collaboration, and a strong ability to prioritize workload, with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
