Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation of individual support plans and activities
  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others while respecting confidentiality
  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning
  • Maintain accurate notes and records as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality care

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding
