Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at BARNARDO'S. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with disabilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to young people with disabilities and/or learning difficulties aged 0-25 years and their families across East Riding. This will involve working in various settings, including community and home-based environments, and providing emotional and practical support to meet the individual needs of each young person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to young people with disabilities and/or learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
