We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Look Ahead Care And Support. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to people with mental health needs.

This role will provide you with the chance to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while making a real difference in people's lives. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to our customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering person-centered care and support, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
  • Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
  • Conducting key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
  • Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers
  • Providing support with daily living activities
  • Assisting with recording and reporting of customer incidents


Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in social care or charity sector
  • Experience in mental health support (desirable)
