Job Description

Job Title: Legal Analyst - Agency Administration

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Analyst - Agency Administration to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our Agency Administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of agency records and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a professional customer care approach to all Legal & General Intermediaries by generating and altering agency, policy, and commission records.
  • Process applications, terminations, agency transfers, and policyholder transfer requests, ensuring regulatory guidelines are maintained.
  • Identify applications and documentation where it would be against Legal & General's interests or in breach of regulatory rules, and reject such cases while documenting and reviewing contentious issues.
  • Investigate control monitors and regulatory reports to highlight potential problems with commission or agency records, preventing incorrect agency payments or reporting.
  • Provide a full support service to our front office Agency Enquires Team, covering the telephone Helpline and dealing with agency-related queries.
  • Work as a team to achieve team objectives and perform to agreed SLA standards and business objectives in respect of quality, quantity, and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond and react to customers appropriately.
  • Effective planning and prioritization, with the ability to take full ownership of given tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of the Independent Financial Advisor market is desirable.
  • Good desktop skills around Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
