Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HRIS Apprentice to join our HR team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the administration, maintenance, and operation of SAP SuccessFactors, as well as providing support for our payroll system (ResourceLink).

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for system user and reporting queries.
  • Maintain and administer the HR system, including configuration of new job titles, cost centers, work schedules, and permissions.
  • Coordinate the preparation, production, and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Support system actions based on the HR/yearly calendar, including performance and pay review cycles, holiday period-end processing, and renewal of annual compliance training.
  • Partner with internal colleagues and third-party vendors to ensure system maintenance and first-line support for system issues.
  • Support system changes through to implementation, ensuring testing is completed and changes are communicated effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and integrity by preparing data audits and reconciliations and supporting the delivery and implementation of improvements.
  • Produce and maintain system documentation, including workbooks and training materials.
  • Provide end-user support by delivering system training to new joiners and offering ongoing training as needed to ensure adoption and ease of use.
  • Support cyclical and ad-hoc activities, including projects and HR initiatives.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong numeracy skills and proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, IF statements), with a good understanding of using technology and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a similar data environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge or experience with SAP SuccessFactors is an advantage but not essential.
  • Some experience in an administrative position, preferably within a HR environment.
