Market Development Specialist

A Sales Executive with relevant experience is required to join our team at Jobheron, a leading manufacturer of luxury timber doors. This is a full-time or part-time hybrid working role based in Castleford, with a unique blend of Key Account Management and Estimation.
You will be the first point of contact for our high-end trade clients, providing bespoke project quotes and maintaining ongoing relationships. Your understanding of architectural and construction details will ensure accurate project estimates, while you foster strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
This hybrid-working role offers a performance-based bonus and opportunities to travel to production facilities, site visits, and attend industry events. You will be part of a close-knit team with a supportive, family-like atmosphere and have the chance to grow professionally within a rapidly expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including property developers, architects, interior designers, and construction companies.
- Interpret architectural drawings, project plans, and bills of quantities to provide detailed and accurate quotations.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through telephone, email, and online outreach.
- Manage client expectations, provide updates on projects, and ensure all queries are handled with a high level of service.
- Use Pipedrive and other internal tools to log new enquiries, quotations, and project updates efficiently.
- Conduct regular site visits or client meetings as necessary, managing your own schedule and travel plans.
- Liaise with our operations team to ensure orders and projects are progressing according to schedule and resolve any technical issues.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or estimating roles in the construction or design industry.
- Basic knowledge of architectural terminology, with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create rapport over email, phone, and video calls.
- Numerically minded with attention to detail, particularly in providing accurate and timely estimates.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) and accounting software (e.g., Xero) is a bonus.
- Ability to handle complex client requirements and deliver exceptional service.
- Full driving licence required for occasional travel and site visits.
- Willingness to visit our factory and attend trade shows when required.
