About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and associated computations and schedules.
  • Lead corporate tax assignments, supervising, delegating, and monitoring the work of trainees.
  • Liaise closely with clients and communicate key information within agreed timelines.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a positive experience for clients and maximize cross-fertilization opportunities.
  • Communicate with senior tax managers and directors of tax operations in relation to workflows, challenges, and unforeseen eventualities.
Requirements

We are ideally seeking an individual who is CTA or ATT qualified, however our client has indicated that they would consider an applicant who is qualified by experience (within tax in an accounting firm). The location of work is flexible, however we would expect applicants to be based in either Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, or Dundee. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering first-class service to clients and who are strong communicators.
