Job Title: Arts & Education Officer

Award-winning charity Awel Aman Tawe (AAT) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to help us run Hwb y Gors when we open in Spring 2025. The successful candidate will be part of a team that develops and manages an arts and education programme, addressing climate/biodiversity emergencies and community resilience.

About the Role:
  • Work with our Creative Director, Education Outreach Programme Lead, and Centre Manager to design and deliver an arts and education programme targeting all ages and abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of projects promoting energy efficiency, renewable energy, community resilience, sustainable transport, community arts, and education programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate the arts and education programme, ensuring it aligns with the joint objectives of addressing climate/biodiversity emergencies and community resilience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for community engagement and participation in arts and education initiatives.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 per annum
  • 25 days leave per annum plus bank holidays for full-time working
  • Ethical Pension scheme with a 6.5% salary contribution being matched by AAT
  • Flexible rota to suit the needs of the centre
