Immerse yourself in a dynamic role at Arts Council England, where you will build and maintain relationships with museums and cultural institutions across the South East region. As our ideal candidate, you will possess exceptional communication and analytical skills, with experience in handling challenging conversations with senior leaders.

Working closely with our National Portfolio Organisations programme, you will:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of funded organisations, providing expert guidance on their resilience and growth strategies
  • Broker internal and external relationships to facilitate knowledge sharing and expertise exchange between Arts Council England and its partners
  • Collaborate with local authorities, universities, and business improvement districts to drive positive place-based working and community engagement
  • Review funding applications, writing compelling assessments to inform decision-making panels

To succeed in this rewarding position, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of museum accreditation, designation, and collections management
  • Awareness of current UK museum trends and opportunities
  • Strong organisational dynamics skills, including business planning, financial reporting, performance management, and governance
  • Experience in developing relationships with organisations at all levels and possessing excellent communication and analytical skills
