Credit Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control Assistant to join our Finance team at Whitehall Resources. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring debt recovery and process efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage credit control across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients.
- Process daily cash and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Allocate receipts into the finance package, collaborating with the Accounts Assistant as needed.
- Monitor client credit limits and contact details, ensuring up-to-date information in the finance package.
- Run weekly debtor reports, highlighting overdue payments and providing updates to the Credit Control Manager.
- Produce weekly disallowed trackers and call logs, highlighting any issues or concerns.
- Manage the invoicing and credit control inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Liaise with clients to resolve invoice issues and ensure timely payment.
- Reconcile client self-bill invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates to the Credit Control Manager on any issues or concerns.
- Previous experience in a credit control role, with knowledge of credit control processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
