Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian to join our dynamic and supportive team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). As a dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition advice and support to service users, carers, and healthcare professionals in community and mental health settings.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dietetic expertise to service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals in various settings, including trust premises and community locations. This will involve working closely with the EPUT West Essex dietetic team, mental health dietitians, and other professionals specializing in mental health and AHP leads.

You will also have the opportunity to gain experience with or shadow our X-PERT diabetes group education programmes and specialist gastroenterology clinics. Additionally, you will take an active part in the provision of training for dietetic students from the University of Hertfordshire.

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid UK licence
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in mental health settings
  • Car owner and driver
  • BSc Hons or equivalent
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Interest in developing mental health skills
