HSE Manager - Chiswick, London

Our client, a leading global manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced and empowering Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join their team in Chiswick, London.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Health, Safety and Environment across the site, supporting the Head of HSE, and ensuring compliance with corporate and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of the Group HSE strategy and associated plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation and corporate requirements
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the onsite HSE Advisor
  • Implement and nurture a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture
  • Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices
  • Provide training to prevent accidents, conduct risk assessments, and investigate accidents/near misses
  • Support the Head of HSE with projects and campaigns
  • Engage with middle management to ensure HSE remains a top priority
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Certificate is essential
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is desirable
  • Prior HSE experience at a senior advisor or regional or managerial level is essential
  • Manufacturing/Production experience is essential, ideally within a fast-paced environment like Food and Beverage is preferred
