Analytical Laboratory Specialist

Brewing excellence requires meticulous attention to detail, and at Asahi UK, we're seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to ensure our products meet the highest standards.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for determining the quality of our products through laboratory analysis, ensuring they meet our quality control standards. This role will involve:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection and analysis of samples from bulk deliveries to final pack finished goods.
  • Providing training to operators on basic QC testing and validating results in production areas.
  • Calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Aiding in the development of lab sample plans as production needs change.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Accurate entry of results into LIMS, ensuring product traceability.
  • Timely production of reports to support production departments.
  • Release of stock in SAP, linking back to lab test records.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Maintaining housekeeping and hygiene standards in laboratories and sensory rooms.
  • Ensuring the safety of the Laboratory Team.
  • Adhering to company standards and policies, prioritizing team safety.

Requirements:

  • BSc or equivalent in a related Science discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and LIMS experience.
  • Ability to produce high-quality data and accurate information.
  • Knowledge of our quality standards, health and safety, and external legislation.
  • A working knowledge of Fuller's brands and products.
