Job Title: Health and Safety Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at The HSE Recruitment Network. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement the Group HSE strategy and associated plans for the business
* Ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are up to date and followed and that the business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times
* Provide mentorship and guidance to the onsite HSE Advisor
* Implement and nourish a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture and ensure it is supported at all levels of the workforce across the site
* Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year
* Provide training to prevent accidents, conduct risk assessments and investigate accidents/near misses making recommendations for improvements
* Support the Head of HSE with some exciting projects and also spearheading campaigns across this site

Requirements:

* A NEBOSH Certificate is essential
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is desirable
* Prior Health, Safety and Environmental experience at a senior advisor or regional or managerial level is essential
* Manufacturing/ Production experience is essential, ideally within a fast paced environment like Food and Beverage is preferred
