Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Student Wellbeing Counsellor to join our team at WhereToTalk. As a key member of our Counselling and Support service, you will provide expert support and guidance to students, helping them navigate mental health challenges and achieve academic success.

This role offers a competitive salary of £36,023 - £45,585 per annum, with a 0.6 FTE contract. You will work flexibly from home or campus, according to service needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assess student needs, monitor risk, and develop effective support plans.
  • Deliver high-quality counselling and support services, adhering to professional standards and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Wellbeing colleagues, academic staff, and external services to ensure seamless student support.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., BACP accreditation).
  • Significant experience in student wellbeing and mental health support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
