Capacity Building Support Lead

Sported is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Capacity Building Support Lead to join our London team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive programme of resources and events to support community groups in London.

You will work closely with the England National Manager – South and London Regional Manager to deliver the objectives set out within our Go London project agreement. Your main responsibility will be to provide tailored organisational development support, including resource signposting, development, and workshop delivery.

We are looking for someone who has experience in programme management and delivery, and is passionate about supporting community groups. If you have a degree-level qualification in a relevant field and strong communication and interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme of resources and events to support community groups in London
  • Provide tailored organisational development support, including resource signposting, development, and workshop delivery
  • Work closely with project partners to deliver the objectives set out within our Go London project agreement
  • Contribute to the growth and development of local community organisations

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences, business, education)
  • Experience in programme management and delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting community groups and contributing to their growth and development

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
