Prime Appointments is seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join the team, focusing on maintaining and improving advanced manufacturing equipment in both the Lathe and Assembly Departments.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for Maintaining and repairing multispindle lathe machines and automated assembly equipment. You will also diagnose faults related to machine wear and product quality, assist with machine operation to support production output when needed, investigate and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures, and provide training and support for new and existing team members.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably 24/7 or shift-based. They will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with multispindle lathes or automated assembly machines. Self-motivation, discipline, and a great team player are essential skills required for this role.

Estimated salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
