Production Equipment Engineer

A talented Production Equipment Engineer is required to work on the Production team of a leading Manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port. Estimated salary: £52,756 pa.
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and technologies, contributing to the smooth operation of our production processes.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules for equipment, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install new equipment, including pumps, motors, and pipelines, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless integration.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development throughout the team.
- Develop and implement procedures to optimize equipment performance, reducing energy consumption and minimizing waste.
- Leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues, ensuring business continuity and minimizing losses.
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Engineering Maintenance or equivalent qualification, with extensive post-qualification experience in an industrial environment, preferably Chemical.
- Be proficient in using computer-based maintenance management systems and possess certifications such as Counterbalance FLT License, MEWPS, and PASMA would be advantageous.
