Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to earn while you learn as part of our Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program. This program is designed for ambitious individuals from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and career trajectories. You will work towards an Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechatronics Maintenance), gaining both practical, on-the-job experience and earning industry-recognized qualifications.

Responsibilities
  1. Installation, testing and commissioning of new automated equipment
  2. Fault finding, troubleshooting and rectification of issues
  3. Planned and preventative maintenance activities
  4. Modifications and upgrades to existing equipment

You will study for an HNC in Engineering/Mechatronics and work in a Fulfilment/Sortation Centre or Delivery Station among our team of technicians and engineers.

Requirements
  1. You are a UK national, or a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national and have settled status in the UK, and have lived in the UK or an EEA, or British overseas territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship
  2. You will be resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
  3. You are not registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later
  4. You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building
  5. You have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Maths, English and a science/technology subject
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary above the industry standard, pension scheme, discounted products, free parking on site, and many more benefits. Estimated salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum.
