Job Title: Senior Business Development Associate - Private EquitySalary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

Location: Central London office, with hybrid working arrangement (Mon, Tues, Thurs)

About the Role:Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Associate to join our Private Equity Practice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business development activities, supporting client-facing teams, and delivering exceptional client service.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and expand our network within the private equity industry.
  • Support the client-facing team with key account development, data analysis, and CRM management.
  • Build and maintain detailed reports on main clients, target funds, and portfolio companies, providing valuable insights for business development and strategy.
  • Manage databases of target funds, their deal leaders, CEOs, CFOs, and operating partners, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Track job leads, act as project manager for required actions, and follow up with clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare for client meetings by researching and extracting relevant information from Pitchbook and online sources.
  • Develop proposals and pitch decks for consultants, including track records, search strategies, profile recommendations, and fees.
  • Coordinate Divisional client/market events, including planning, setup, and attendance.
Database Management:
  • Analyse sales funnels to understand successful deals, identifying key inputs, individuals involved, market intel sources, and actions.
  • Add clients to CRM and maintain accurate profiles and adjacent links.
  • Ensure data integrity through system audits, training new consultants, and leading 'hygiene' training sessions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement with the CRM provider, learn about new features, manage trials, and gather feedback from users.
Operational Support:
  • Generate activity reports in CRM and PowerBI.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for queries related to CRM and PowerBI.
  • Assist with data cleanse projects on an ad hoc basis.
  • Coordinate client meetings for Directors and relevant internal meetings linked to client/Business Development preparation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales support or a similar role in the recruitment industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and report generation.
  • Familiarity and use of PowerBI/Salesforce.
