We are seeking a Human Resources Officer to join our team at our Birmingham campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for all HR-related matters, procedures, and practices on campus. They will work closely with the HR Manager and other teams to ensure the culture of ESL is developed and embedded into campus life.

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards. Benefits include annual leave, workplace pension scheme, company sick policy, statutory sick pay, and career development opportunities.

As an HR Generalist and Business Partner, you will be responsible for various tasks, including:

  • Providing guidance to line managers and employees on HR-related matters
  • Liaising with the recruitment team to direct and participate in the interview process
  • Ensuring new hire inductions are carried out for all new joiners
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records

You will also be expected to demonstrate your commitment to ESL's Social, Economic, and Environmental responsibilities and contribute to the delivery of ESL's Environmental Policy.

This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility and initiative. You will be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Company. If you have a Bachelor's degree in human resources or related and excellent people skills, we encourage you to apply.
