Job Overview

The Highland Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Nurse Professional to join our team in Inverness. As a key member of our Family Team, you will play a vital role in delivering universal child health programmes for school-aged children and young people (5 - 19 years) within school and community settings.

Working closely with the School Nurse, you will collaborate with education colleagues in their role as Named Persons and contribute to the development of the Child's Plan through health assessment using the national practice model.

As a School Nurse Professional, you will be responsible for working with children, young people, and their families to promote health, well-being, and social inclusion. You will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £31, - £39, per annum, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for continuing professional development and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have current first-level registration and evidence of continuing professional development. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
