Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified School Nurse/Trainee School Nurse to join our team at the Highland Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, delivering, and evaluating universal public health programs for school-aged children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and delivering universal public health programs for school-aged children and young people
  • Supporting education colleagues in their role as the Named Person in contributing to the development of the Child Plan
  • Providing leadership within health assessment and care planning

Requirements:

  • SCPQN qualification
  • Ability to travel for work requirements
  • Non-medical prescriber (desirable)
