Job Description
Inverclyde Council is seeking to recruit talented and dedicated Supply Teachers (Primary) to support our area primary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support primary school students in a supply capacity
- Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to ensure a smooth learning environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to child-centered learning and inclusive education
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
- Hold a valid GTCS registration
- Meet the necessary Disclosure Scotland requirements
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a school environment

Vetting by Disclosure Scotland

GTCS
You will be required to be registered with the GTCS. You are required to obtain and maintain registration, including paying any fees.
RC Approval
Guidance for teachers seeking Approval to teach in a Catholic school, if applicable
If applicable, the successful candidate will require approval by the Roman Catholic Church, in line with Section 21 (A) of the Education (Scotland) Act
Head Teacher Reports
Candidates successful at interview need to download and print the appropriate Report. You need to complete the applicant details section and sign the form, and then pass it to your current HT to complete the assessment sections and sign the form. The form then needs to be sent to Human Resources by email to
