Curriculum Developer Gaelic Medium

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Curriculum Developer Gaelic Medium at Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that supports the learning and development needs of children aged 3-5 years old in Gaelic medium.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing curricula, as well as a strong understanding of the Curriculum for Excellence and the National Care Standards. They will also have excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
The salary for this position is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance and is approximately £25,000 per annum. The role requires a strong ability to plan and implement a curriculum through short, medium and long term planning, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement a high-quality curriculum that supports the learning and development needs of children aged 3-5 years old.
- To lead and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure effective planning, implementation and assessment of children's learning.
- To maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, including attendance and personal details.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to early years education.
