Job Title: Gaelic Language Assistant Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gaelic Language Assistant Tutor to join our team at Highland Council. The successful candidate will assist with the delivery of a programme of Gaelic Community learning activities, working in accordance with Highland Council policies, guidelines, and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of Gaelic Community learning activities
  • Work with the Gaelic Team to develop and implement learning programmes
  • Provide support and guidance to learners
  • Contribute to the development of Gaelic language and culture in the community

Requirements:

  • Essential Gaelic language skills
  • Experience of working with Gaelic language and culture
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
