Job Title: Gaelic Language Assistant Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Gaelic Language Assistant Tutor to join our team at Highland Council. The successful candidate will assist with the delivery of a programme of Gaelic Community learning activities, either formally or informally, within the local community or relevant setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of Gaelic Community learning activities
  • Work with local communities to promote Gaelic language and culture
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of Gaelic language and culture initiatives

Requirements:

  • Essential Gaelic language skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability
