Job Title: Head Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Teacher to lead our Gaelic medium primary and nursery school in the heart of Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and a passion for promoting Gaelic language and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a senior leadership team to drive educational excellence and promote Gaelic language and culture
  • Develop and implement effective educational strategies to support the growth and development of our students
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage and coordinate school operations, including budgeting and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, community groups, and other stakeholders

  • Strong educational background and experience in leading a school or department
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills
